SDI Input & Router Setup
SDI inputs are pre-configured by CASTUS technicians and require only correct cabling and interface settings, while router integration involves submitting detailed configuration information to CASTUS support.
Your SDI inputs will be set up by a CASTUS technician ahead of shipping. Please plug your SDI cable into the appropriate connection.
The device index will be assigned appropriately, with the initial SDI input designated as device index 0. The device indexes for additional SDI inputs will vary based on the card in use.
To ensure proper functionality of SDI, only the device index and interface settings are required. The interface must be configured to Black Magic Decklink SDI.
If you are looking to connect a router, please email support@castus.tv with the below information for configuration. This process requires installing a carefully crafted association file on your server.
