Schedule Types

Choose from a variety of schedule types to best fit the needs of your organization.

In the Schedule Editor, you have the ability to create and save schedules that can be assigned to any channel. By default, these schedules are stored in the Schedules folder within your Library. You can create as many schedules as you need, with no limitations. You can create schedule files for various time frames, including a single day, a week, a month, a year, an endless duration, or a custom interval of days. Among our customers, the weekly and endless schedule types are frequently the most popular choices.

Schedule Types

Daily Schedule: This schedule format is intended for a continuous 24-hour cycle, where identical content is played repeatedly each day.

Weekly Schedule: A repeating 7-day cycle that runs from Sunday through Saturday, allowing for consistent programming of content every week.

Monthly Schedule: This schedule format allows for a recurring cycle that aligns with specific days of the month. For instance, content scheduled on the 5th will automatically play on the 5th of every month.

Yearly Schedule: This is a recurring yearly schedule that designates specific content to play on the same date each year, regardless of what day of the week it falls on. For example, content set for January 5th will play annually on that date.

Endless Schedule: This schedule type is unique in that it does not follow a repetitive pattern. Instead, each day is individually programmed, allowing for customization specific to each unique date.

Interval or Cruise Schedule: This looping schedule is designed for a specified number of days. It does not adhere to a specific day of the week; rather, it allows for programming based on ordinal days, such as the first, second, or third day of the interval.
