Renaming an Input or Output

Renaming an input or output in CASTUS is simple—stop the feed, click Rename in Services, and enter a new name before restarting if needed.

Renaming an Input or Output is quick and easy.

  1. Navigate to CASTUS > Services and choose the desired tab.
  2. Make sure your input or output is stopped. Press the stop button if it is currently running. 
  3. Select Rename on the far right of the input buttons.

  4. Enter new name and press Submit.

  5. Press play to start the input or output if applicable.

NOTE: For inputs, ensure it is not active by being live on the channel or having the control window open, as this will prevent it from being stopped.

NOTE: While spaces are allowed in input and output names, CASTUS recommends using dashes or underscores in place of spaces. Please avoid using any special characters.
