Mobile App Push Notifications

CASTUS mobile app users can easily create, preview, and send push notifications linking videos, playlists, or live streams directly from the cloud portal.

Navigating to Push Notifications

  1. Log in to your CASTUS cloud portal at cloud.castus.tv.
  2. Navigate to the Mobile option on the left hand side.
  3. Choose Push Notifications.

Creating and Sending a Push Notification

  1. Add the information noted below
    1. Title - required
    2. Subtitle (iOS/Apple only) - optional
    3. Body - optional

  2. If you plan to link content to your notification, such as a video, playlist, or live stream, select Link Content on the right.
    1. Choose what type of content you want to link.
    2. Navigate to and select the specific content you want to link.

  3. Preview your notification by choosing Preview & Send in the bottom right.

  4. Review your notification and choose Send when ready to send.
